The new school, opening on Oct. 5, will offer a variety of music classes and programs for all skill levels led by certified instructors

BUENA PARK, Calif. — Yamaha, the brand committed to helping everyone MAKE WAVES through music and sound, is opening its newest Yamaha Music School in Prosper, TX, on Thursday, Oct. 5. Designed specifically for learning music, the new school will provide an inspiring space for student musicians in Prosper and the surrounding areas to receive curriculum from certified local instructors.

At the new Yamaha Music School, students of all ages can enjoy large, open classrooms and comfortable practice rooms where they can express themselves musically. With specialized programs for beginners, intermediate and advanced players, students can learn how to play various instruments and understand important concepts like listening to others, keeping time, and applying dynamics through one-on-one instruction or in a group session.

“As a lifelong musician and someone who has always enjoyed introducing the joys of music to friends and family, I’m excited to bring this school to the Prosper community,” said Venus Wood, owner of Yamaha Music School in Prosper. “Through my years of experience as a music instructor, I have seen how children can be trained with the fundamentals of music in fun, engaging and systematic ways. I look forward to providing a welcoming, comfortable space where students can hone their passion and take their talents to the next level.”

To celebrate its opening, families in and around Prosper are invited to visit the Yamaha Music School – located at 1390 N. Preston Rd, Ste 10, Prosper, TX 75078 – for its grand opening event on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy several activities, including:

  • VIP visits and tours of the new school for students, parents, and music educators
  • Those who enroll by Oct. 8 will receive 50% off the first month of lessons
  • Those who enroll by Oct. 31 will receive 25% off the first month of lessons
  • Mini lessons with teachers
