The annual Prosper Arbor Day Celebration is a fun morning that typically includes a proclamation by the Mayor and tree plantings by Parks and Recreation staff, with assistance from Prosper Scouts. Parks and Recreation staff also provide instruction and guidance on proper tree planting techniques to the group.

The annual activity brings focus to Prosper’s dedication to community forestry.  The Town recognizes that trees enhance the quality of life in Prosper and the staff is dedicated to the proper care and management of these precious resources.
