The annual Champion Tree Contest is a fun contest held each fall to support urban forestry within the Town of Prosper.  A different tree is designated each year and residents are challenged to search their properties and Prosper parks to find the largest in the species!

On September 15, the species of the tree to hunt in 2022 will be posted on the Parks and Recreation Facebook page. An online entry form will be available for submitting tree information and photos.

The winning tree will be announced at the Prosper Arbor Day Celebration on November 5 and a commemorative plaque will be placed near the tree.
